Rosanne SalamyWhen Rosanne Salamy came to E.L. Sanders Insurance Agency in 2004, she wasted no time building the type of relationships that our agency is known for.

Rosanne has been with us for 18 years now. Her longest clients have been with her for … you guessed it … 18 years. That’s the type of service that all of her clients have come to expect, and it’s why she has always fit right in here.

We found Rosanne when she relocated to Charles County from Harford County in northern Maryland. She made a seamless transition from working on the insurance carrier side of the business to the independent agency side.

When Rosanne isn’t taking care of our clients, you can usually find her cheering on her family’s racing team — AJ Chvostal Racing — at tracks all over the East Coast. Check out the Q&A below to learn more about Rosanne!

Where had you worked previously? And what prompted you to join E.L. Sanders Insurance Agency in 2004?
I was with Hartford Mutual Insurance working as a Renewal Underwriter. I moved to Charles County from Harford County. Taking the job with E.L. Sanders Insurance brought me over to the Independent Agency side from the Carrier side.

How long have you been working with your most long-term clients?
18 years.

What would you say is most important to keeping those clients happy?
Prompt response time, letting them know their needs are important to me and our agency, and always looking out for them to be sure they have coverages that are most important for their business.

What do you enjoy most about your work?
The personal relationships that I make with my clients and coming in everyday to a very pleasant group of coworkers. We are family.

Tell me about Chvostal Racing and how your family is involved.
My nephew, AJ Chvostal, is the driver of the #98 Chvostal Racing. It’s 600cc Wingless Micro Sprint. Since he started racing 8 years ago, he has won several feature and memorial events and received the Rookie of the Year award. They race at tracks like Middleford Speedway, Airport Speedway and others on the East Coast. His crew chief is his father, who also drove for Chvostal Racing almost 20 years ago.
